Stolen Light will be performing at the 2023 NorCal Noisefest. We will be perfomring a piece that will involve power tools. We don't have a title yet, so you'll have to wait and see how it goes. Stolen Lights is currently scheduled for goes on at 8:45 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023. This will all take place at Cafe Colonial (3520 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA). As an added bonus to those who are in the audience, everyone will get a free disc that I am composing specifically for the occasion. I did this last year with a disc titled "Five Improvisations." If free music is not enough to get you to show up, they will be streaming it at www.youtube.com/norcalnoisefest, so check it out either way.

In other news, Stolen Light has some recent releases on other labels. I have a 3" CD out with the inimitable Inner Demons Records called "I Really Want Dan to Like This and I Think I Have a Pretty Good Chance," which is a bit more on the Harsh Noise Wall side of things. Inner Demons is also a fantastic label and Dan is a great guy, so check it out.

Finally, Stolen Light has some compilation tracks out as well. "Fragments of Digital Existence" was released on "PROCRASTINOISE - an Electronic Cottage compilation." I loved the rules. It had to be submitted after the deadline. "Peace, Love, and Jackhammers" was on "KONSTRUCK - An Electronic Cottage Construction." Stolen Light has a track on this year's Noisefest compilation, "Don't Touch That Dial" titled "Going Nowhere." Finally, there is "Nailed It," on the compilation "Dost Thy Instrument Hold Currents? An Electronic Cottage Compilation of Luddite Techniques." This one was a lot of fun, as the sound source could not use electricity. You can guess what the sound source is. I am also working on a track for this year's Zaftig Research holiday compilation and this year's Noisefest compilation.
